French Toast

Our parents always did your basic French toast (with just dipping bread in eggs) but we came across adding additional ingredients that we fell in love with!
Ingredience
• 8 slices of GF bread (we used Canyon Bakehouse - Mountain White GF bread)
• 4 eggs
• Teaspoon sugar
• Teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 splashes of milk (about 3/4 cup)
- Any dairy-free milk works too
• Optional: Dash of salt (to bring out the sweetness!)
• 2 tablespoons of oil for the pan
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, milk and salt together
- Dip slices of bread in mixture (might need to move mixture to a plate)
- Both sides of bread will need to be coated (reference picture below)
- In a skillet, heat oil on medium high
- Add bread to skillet and fry
- Flip slices of bread once the first side is golden brown
- Once both sides are golden brown, remove slices to serving plate
- Serve with butter, maple syrup, add cinnamon on top, add fruit on top.. whatever you prefer!
