Top 3 Gluten Free Proteins

Choosing a protein supplement is hard enough for the average person! But when you are gluten free, it gets even harder. With the deceptive advertising and many proteins claiming to be gluten free, many of them have "made in a facility that may contain wheat" in the fine print. This makes it hard to know what you can safely have. I have found my top 3 gluten free proteins.

  1. Ascent Native Fuel Whey: The best! I love the vanilla and the cappuccino. The flavors are rich and creamy without being too sugary. It has 25g of protein per serving and mixing with oat milk (ensure that it is gluten free) or an ultra filtered milk is my go to.

  2. Designer Whey Native Whey Isolate: For protein per scoop, this is hard to beat. It has 32g of protein per scoop and the whey is so fine it dissolves almost instantly. I love the vanilla for its light flavor and texture. This protein is so good that I can just use water with it, so it is perfect for an 'on the go' lifestyle.

  3. Vega Sport: The best vegan protein, hands down. It has so many goodies, like tart cherry, for overall health boosting. Plus, it has a great taste (yes, vegan proteins can still taste good)! It has 30g of protein and has fun flavors like mocha and peanut butter. I tend to normally stick with vanilla. Mixing with almond or oat milk makes a great high protein, vegan shake.
