Wow is this simple and cheap! Check it out!

The needed goods:

  1. Whole Chicken

  2. Seasoning of your choice (We have used S&P and garlic and onion powder, Adobo seasoning, Pre-made chicken seasoning. Literally anything)

Cook dat bird:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F

  2. Using kitchen shears, cut out the back bone of the chicken and then place a small snip on the breast bone to open the bird. Finally, place the chicken breast bone down on a foil lined baking sheet and tuck the wing tips under. This process is known as spatchcocking and Binging with Babish has great videos on it accessible here!

  3. Season the outside of your chicken

  4. Place in the oven and cook for 35 minutes at 375 degrees F

  5. Raise the heat to 450 and cook for an additional 10-20 minutes until the thickest part of the chicken registers 165 degrees F

  6. Let rest for 5-10 minutes

  7. Dig in!
