When we scheduled our vaccines in March we decided it was time to book a vacation. We wanted time to hang out on a beach and ended up going to Clearwater, Florida. With the help of the gluten free community, we found so many great spots with tons of GF options! If you are planning a trip there, make sure to read through our recommendations so you don't miss any of the yummy spots. :)
Palm Pavillion

Right on the beach! So good that we made another stop later in the stay! The fish and shrimp tacos were our favs!
Brown Boxer

Don't entirely recommend. They have a separate menu but it was very poorly made that we felt like an inconvenience. We had chicken nachos that were ok but kind of disappointed us. However, it becomes a bit of a club at night so it's a fun place to get a drink!
Marina Cantina

High-class Mexican overlooking the marina, wishing we owned one of the boats... SO good and very GF-friendly. We went a bit overboard on the small plates but no complaints from us! If you like margaritas we got the cucumber and made it spicy by adding jalapenos and WOW
Beachcomber

Lots of red meat to choose from, but that wasn't sounding appetizing for us! We couldn't have soup, some appetizers and some of the seasonings on the most popular dish: the grouper. We decided to just get an app and make our way over to the next place; cooters. Unless you are a steak fan we would recommend skipping this.
Cooters

Gluten-free menu with lots of options but you have to love seafood to enjoy. We got an amazing seafood platter with all kinds of fun steamed sea treats like oysters, mussels, shrimp, and crab! Also, just like our server, we had one too many drinks.
Clearsky Cafe

This was recommended to us by our friend Rob (follow him on Instagram @living_free_of_gluten) they had extensive brunch options! We got a skillet with no complaints! If you like boozy coffee the cold brew cocktail is fantastic!
Bartaco
This is in Tampa, FL (where we flew into) and we are OBSESSED. We had it once in Nashville and love that it is popping up other places we are. It is 100% gluten-free and soooooo good! If you can get to one within 3 hours of our house DO IT!!
