Pickled Onions

Pickled are the perfect way to add flavor and color to any dish. They are healthy and O-so-easy to make!


You will need

  • 1 large onion

  • 1/2 cup of water

  • 1/2 cup of vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar

  • 1/2 a jalapeno with seeds removed

  • A jar

Let the science begin

  1. Add water, vinegar, and sugar to a pot and bring to a boil

  2. While your liquid is boiling, slice the onion and jalapeno

  3. Add the sliced onions and jalapenos to your jar and then pour the boiling liquid over top

  4. Store in the fridge for 5 hours - 3 months
